HOW DOES A SCENTSY CANDLE WARMER WORK?
Just break off a piece, or two or even the entire bar – depending on the size of your space and scent needs, of your Scentsy Candle Bar and place it the dish of one of your favorite Scentsy Candle Warmers, turn it on and within minutes the wax will warm and scent your room(s) – releasing our powerful and long lasting fragrances into your home, office, dorm room, etc.
A secret combination of ingredients is used to create a pool of melted wax, which is transformed into a wickless candle bar. Only the finest scented oils are hand-picked to give an array of aromas. I am concerned about what kind of wax is used for these ‘uncandles’ – I have quit burning any candles that are not soy as the by products of hot petroleum are not good for anyone’s lungs. What is the byproduct of using this wax?
Hi TJ,
Thanks for your comment. Our wax is a petroleum food based wax. It is not meant to be ‘burned’ by a flame or too hot of a warmer thus, the need for use of our Scentsy Warmers. Our warmers melt the wax to a ‘warm’ temperature that will not release any harmful chemicals. Also, this process allows only the Scent to evaporate into the air while leaving all the wax in the warmer and not into the air – like regular flame candles.
If I have a friend who sells these in another state can I buy them through her or do I have to buy it from a consultant in my own area?

You can do either. You can place orders with your friend over the phone or on her Website anytime! You would have to pay shipping though unless she has a personal special or if you order enough to make your order a ‘qualifying party’. You can find someone local as well. I say, keep your business with your friend to help their personal business – if they are working their business to help support their family. If she’s just a hobbyist…maybe find a local consultant who you can help support. That’s my opinion anyway. Great question.

where is the wax made? is the a usa made product?

Actually, we have multiple wax suppliers but the majority of it comes from Toronto Canada as we’ve found a company who provides us with a top quality wax with a high yield scent packing capacity. The wax is imported via railway directly to our Corporate HQ in Boise Idaho where the wax is mixed with fragrance and our Bars are made in the USA. Hope this makes sense.

Do u have consultants in Boynton beach Florida?
Love scentsy but just bought a nightlight and was concerned about how hot it got all my warmers are great but this was different. Why is this so hot ?
I just bought my first nightlight warmer and it get extremely hot to touch. Why is it so hot?
Hi Kelly, what warmer did you get? Each Nightlight is made with products that could be warmer or cooler to the touch depending on their materials. You won’t burn yourself touching them but some can get very warm and uncomfortable if you were to touch it when hot. Each Nightlight is designed to warm our wax to just above body temperature but that doesn’t mean the warmers aren’t warmer than that. A good rule of thumb is to just turn it off and let it sit for a minute or two before touching it.
I also bought several warmers and two night lights..I got the one for the kitchen with the rooster on it…I was concerned also because of how hot it got but I think after reading this it is ok..I don’t think you would sell a product that had potential for danger…
Hi Judy. Think of our Warmers as Lamps. You probably feel safe leaving you lamp on when you leave the house and maybe just turn them off when you aren’t in the room or when you go to bed. In our house we have now had on warmers on 24/7 unless we are going on Vacation or need to replace a light. We have 7 of them on throughout the house all day, every day for 7yrs now.
